I am building a speedstery thing using a T frame and A rear axle. I would like to lower it, just a couple of inches. Speedway has a T spring that it calls "medium arch" but it says 38 inches from eye to eye. As shown here, this old T spring is 46 inches from eye to eye. Are they figuring you are using a more modern rear axle? Can I remove a couple of springs and lower it a couple of inches?

A speedster doesn't need 10 leaves in the rear spring. Remove a few and you should have a softer ride, as well as a lower spring.
