With the aid of my little shop press, I reversed the eyes on the springs for my 31 coupe today. The rear spring was a little harder than the front, but still quite do-able. Just use patience, go slow, check them against your pattern often. Way cheaper than buying a new spring, and a whole lot more fun...

Nice. I once cracked a rear spring at the bolt hole trying to go too fast when reversing. One more lesson learned the hard way, glad you didn't follow in those footsteps.
