So with spring just around the corner, the last little things are getting finished up, paints drying, the whites are all freshened.

Being from the Emerald city, riding in the rain is just a matter of course, so waiting until the sun comes out could take until Late June for a clear Saturday in Seattle.

And with that the weekends begin to be planned, what shows to go to, which ones will have the best bands and coldest beers.

I'm curious where everyone is planning on making their first stepping out of the year?

    Scooterville likes this.
  6. Low in the single digits south of KC today, but forecast is for highs in the mid- to upper 60s late in the week, so let's get going in our garages! Still got brake lines to run and steering to complete, plus seemingly endless engine and body work ahead.

  7. Going to get friggin obscenely cold here tonight. Been hovering at a steady 24 for the past few days and the locals are crabbin... dropping to zero tonight. Will try to work in the garage tomorrow if I can get it up over 45.

We have got it made here in the Great Northwest. We might get a lot of rain but rarely is it frozen for days on end. Feeling like an early spring this year. I just have to finish the frame, build engine mounts, mount steering, build the independent rear suspension, convert the wide five front to disc brake, mount the body, etc.

  10. Don't forget the 3RD ANNUAL MEET AND GREET hosted by the Assorted Nuts at the Myrtle Beach State Park, Saturday, March 19 from 4-8 pm after the Run to the Sun.

  11. Working in the garage today is a no-go. 2 degrees right now. May bundle up, stagger out and sort some parts. Supposed to hit 50 by Wednesday.

I should go out and work on something but it's 17 degrees, windy and snowing. If I ever strike it rich I'll have a nice heated shop.

It's the perfect temperature today to go get something done. I need to figure out where my brake lamps have gotten off to.
But first some Valentine's Day breakfast and then I have to run and check out a '66 Deville a buddy of mine wants to pick up
