    Goodmorning to all!
I'm Johnny from Italy. I'm buildin a hotrod with a '31 Model A pickup. I'm dropping the front end using a 4" I-beam dropped axle. I woul like to instal the lower shock mounts (of the image attached) to the spring perch, but i have a doubt: will the original spring perch i have (see the photo attached) be long enough to accommodate the shock mount? i wouldn't buy it and then can not close completely the inferior nut..
    Thanks!

Sorry, stock perch is probably not long enough. I see that shock mounts are recessed on the bottom with a flat seat. You MIGHT have enough threads coming through to get a thin jam nut on it. Haven't measured one though to make sure. Maybe someone else can check one for you.
