Pulled the leaf springs and rear end out of the 55 Plymouth today. I am going to take the springs in the have them reworked as they are missing clamps and one has more leafs than the other! LOL!

Any input to what I need to make sure happens when I have them reworked? Less arch means lower car right?

    Thanks!

Depending on the actual condition of your springs it maybe better to have a new set made , let your spring shop help you w/ that .Then tell them how low you wanna go . sometimes just the removal of some of the spring pack will do the trick . If you want crazy low , remove some of the pack , dearch 3" and rev the eyes . All depends on just how low you wish .If one side is bigger than the other , either there was a fat previous owner or just plain broke .Check all springs for cracks etc .Good luck .
