    Hi guys,
I'm looking to replace the leaf spring on the front of my model A. I just wondered if anyone in the UK had advice or relevant experience of any suppliers?

I think altering or refurbishing the existing spring would be a waste of time, so its new I'm looking for. Any help gratefully received.

    Thanks Mark,
I was thinking of talking to Paul anyway - I've always got good service from him in the past. I just wonder about how to judge what weight of spring to put on as a replacement. Is there a rule of thumb?

I would guess that any aftermarket spring should be pretty close rate wise.I plan on running mine as it came.If it's a little stiff,I'll remove a leaf and try again.
Make sure you get the correct length spring though. For a spring over set-up,measure the distance between the centres of the perch pin bosses on the top face of the axle then, subtract 4 1/2 inches. That will give you the free length of the spring.
    Cheers,
    Mark.
