Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Children of all ages. It is time once again for the often imitated never duplicated Spring Dust Off swapmeet. -No guys in chrome army helmets selling auto polish. -No junk snow blowers. -No Used baby clothes. Just a real Automotive Swapmeet. @AVater @tb33anda3rd @VTjunk @ct1932ford @ssffnomad @Dave G in Gansevoort, @seabeecmc, @OLDTINPUSHER @adam401.
I am the guy in the first picture looking to the left. I am in front of Bruce Tonneson's (RIP) flea market space.
Yes, but all good stuff. There are a few guys selling off topic for the H.A.M.B. modern parts but it is good quality drag race/oval track stuff, not a bunch of worn out junk 3rd F-body ****.
There is an open practice at Fonda Speedway the afternoon the day before, but unlike the Fonda/Mohawk Valley Vintage opener and Fitchburg M***. weekend. it ends and close enough I can get up and do the swapmeet the next day.
Robert, my earlier post was not a dig!! I always threatened to go out there for the swap but haven't pulled the trigger. If I'm off, I'll be there.
I knew it wasn't. I was showing the old it all or nothing dilemma. Nether swapmeet has happened in two years and of course the both hit on race weekends.
@wheeldog57 Wanna make a trip of it? I'm thinking of going too, and I'd rather have some company while trundling down the Pike. Plus I like meeting new friends who are also into old cars
