I have been searching diligently for info on engine regulations for the old race cars, but alas I keep coming up empt handed... I’ve seen 4 bangers and the Big hitter miller dual ohc set ups but nothing with 6’s or smaller 8’s. I have access to a rare 1931 Desoto CF drive train which is an 8 and both a 29 Essex’s engine and a 29 Hudson F head big six. The big 6 is tall and weights a ton so perhaps not the best option, to build a mopar sprint would be sooo bitchin but since can’t find any 8’s that small, please help! Thanks all!!!

Head over to the pre 1965 sprint car thread. You will get much more response there. Big cars used production engines during the "junk" era at Indy during the '30's.

I can’t find it, sorry but hopefully I’ll find an answer here still. Everyone seems capable [emoji1303][emoji482]
