My son & I have been running vintage cars for 5 or so years now. We are putting together a vintage sprinter, (77 Nance 4 bar) and are going to try a couple wingless shows locally. We won't be competitive but so what. If it lights our fire the vintage car will get sold & replaced with a newer sprinter. Gotta try it soon or I'll be too damn old. Worken2much

My little brother is a pretty successful car owner, 28 years old, on the ASCS National Tour. Was the 2009 ASCS champion, third in 2010 and hopefully 2011 is good to him. His team won the 360 Knoxville Nationals and finished 3rd in the 410 Knoxville Nationals last year, pretty good month of August for him. Here is his car driven by Shane Stewart racing Zach Chappell.
As stated before. pavement is for getting to the races. dirt is for racing. If this don't give you a boner, see your doctor.
Helping keep this thread growing, here is a new picture addition. Me at Williams Grove from the look of the guard rails in the spring a couple years ago.
This "oldie" runs mostly on pavement. We do, on the average, seven race weekends a year; mostly on road courses. I like to say: "It beats the Bugattis and worries the Alfas".
Just sold this one a couple weeks ago. Miss it already. Photo by manvelmotorsports.com P.S. Mr. Consoli, I appreciate everything you've done for the sport.
