This one? I have a ton more somewhere around here, how is Squeak? Do you know if he'll be back stateside for the Hot Rod Reunion? Tell him Skippy says hi Skip
Skip, I was talking to Squeak on Sunday, he wasn't sure if he would be getting back up for the CHRR, sounds like he is still busy down here, on the up side he was in pretty good form. Thx for the pics.
I doubt that Squeak would ever build an unsafe car. He is truly a talented hot rod builder. I think its appearance may make it look unsafe but it is actually just plain good old hot rod fun
Just to clear the air here, Squeak did NOT build that car, it was built in the 50's, last raced in '67 , Squeak bought it as you see it, he tried to run it @ the Antique Nats and they told him he has to put a firewall in it and do a few other things before he can run it, but man it hauls ass around the streets of Bakersfield in the middle of the night! 322 nailhead bored out to 449 cu in, 13 to 1 compression built in 1951 last raced in 1967.
There are not enough words to describe how bitchin' that c-dan is!!! It reminds me alot of the orange crate...wonder which was built first?
