Projects Sr. Newbie needs a better motorhead.

Hi all, first day here. I have come to this motor pool, to drink of its wisdom and to share. I'm 74' and need to step-up my program. I'm at fork in road, redesign/build either a RoverV8x2 or Cadillac 4.9L. V8 x2 into a skilled V16. I have many clues to proceed and will decide soon. Engine will be stress mounted, when needed for weight savings,( all aluminum roadster),
