Event Coverage St. Louis Easter Show Pics

After looking at some of the junk rods posted in the Viva Las Vegas threads I figured I'd post a few pics taken today at the Easter Car show in St. Louis at Forest Park. I didn't take very many pics, but took a few of cars I liked. I always feel like a tourist carrying around my damn camera at car shows. The Easter show is probably the best show in St. Louis. It takes place in the parking lots of the Muny Theater in Forest Park. The bottom lot is Hot Rods and Customs while the top lot is for Original / Restored cars. I got there late and the lot was full for the Hot Rods so I had to park my '40 Coupe w/ the snooty resto guys up top

Thank You, those pics, and the one's from Finland that "At***udor" posted,will help banish the thoughts,of the "Viva Las Vegas"pics that were sure to inspire "nightmares"!!! That Waker/Morrison car is such a beauty, Wow!

Its nice to see cars with paint on them and shiny at that!! And the fact you didnt see a bunch of "Orca Betties" running around there sure made it easier to look at.

I think that wood car is cool enough but how about the wheels? I've seen four, five, six & eight lug wheels but have never ever seen a set of 3 lug wheels! Are they even safe? Did they actually come on something factory made?

 

6 lug hubs with only 3 studs installed...

Thank you. Great pictures. I'm pretty sure those wheels are off a Citroen 2CV. They only ran 3 lugs.
