Hot Rods "Stagecoach" Wheelstander Alcohol Hemi -History?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HotRod28AR, Aug 11, 2013.

  1. A few years back I bought about 6 early Hemi engines and tons of parts out of an old speed shop here in CT, and have since sold most everything except this. It's a 331 Hemi with 392 heads that was supposedly an Alky motor from a wheelstander called The Stagecoach. It has a massive fabbed oil pan, and Fairbanks drag 727 Torqflite. Is there any history out there of this engine?? I was going to sell it, but am thinking of building it to put in a '57 Plymouth I picked up. Would love to find some history on this motor though. Thanks!

Put it in the '57, Dean. Any Hemi's left?

Are you sure it has 392 heads, because they don't look it. And if they are, you can only run a log style intake or a Hilborn type unit.
