Stainless Wanted...

Hello everyone,

My friends 1955 First Series Chevy PU is almost finished, but we still need a part or two. After ordering several times and getting the wrong stuff sent, we found out we might not be able to get the stainless trim for the front windshield. I thought someone here might have ran into the same problem and could help out. I added a pic of it so you all could tell what I was talking about. If anyone knows where one can be purchased, not used, new darn near perfect, let me know.

that's one of those part's that's not likely to ever be reproduced, since it only fits one and a half years of truck production, 54 and 55 first.

So, if you can't find one NOS, you'll have to settle for used/repaired.

 

Thats what I thought it would come too squirrel. Maybe someone might have one here that they would sell.

 

Hey, I've got a parts truck here... I can't remember if it has that trim or not...I'll check tomorrow.
