stainless

i don't know so that why im asking can you weld sheet steal to stainles steel??can you paint stainlees steel?? the reason im asking i just got 5 sheets of louvers (from back of steam machine to heat food where i work) for free they were in the trash i got them for nothing and considering what they charge for louvers?? what the hell they were free i have 3 sheets 4x4 of them
