I saw this at a s****yard near DuQuoin Il. It appears to be an old Standard Oil sign. No gl*** or plastic face is left, but the frame looks to be complete and probably fixable. I believe it's available at s**** metal price. I'll find out the phone number if this picture generates any interest. I think the s****yard is named Tilly's or something like that. The town is between Elkville Il and DuQuoin. It may be called Dowell Il ? I can find a phone number if anyone wants to pursue this. WHY BE ORDINARY ?
This part of the country, before being combined into Amoco - Utoco and several other regional brands shared that general design.
I just took a guess at what it was without research. I dont know how to change the ***le of the thread, but the sign is cheap. This s**** dealer gives very good deals, usually at the s**** prices without boosting it up to speculator prices. WHY BE ORDINARY ?
Kind of a cool frame. I'm to far away to be interested but it could be brought back to life on the cheap by the right guy.
