    I'm heading off to the Darrell Starbird museum , meeting up with some other car nuts on thursday there :cool:

    hoping it will be as cool as I am expecting, obviously I'll take a camera.

    anyone been?.... impressions?

    It's a car guy paradise. He has some great stuff tucked into that place. When I went I got to go into the garage and meet Darryl. He had his 1st car on a jig and was redoing it for it's 50th anniversary. His wife usually takes the tickets at the door. If I can ever get any pictures sized on here I'll put them up.

    Worth the long *** drive from Norman OK the year I went.....I really want to go back for his show. Oh yea...I got to meet him in his garage too....heck of a nice guy!!

    Yep, great place, definitely worth the trip. Both Darryl and his wife spent time chatting with us and showing us around - really nice folk. I am sure you will enjoy it :)

    Yes worth a visit. Called in there 4 years ago on our Route 66 trip.

    A friend from Dallas was just there recently. Said he had a great time and got to help Darryl pull a roof off a Caddy he was chopping. Sounded pretty cool to me.
