I forgot all about it. Went to OKC spent $15.00 a head to get into a bike show/swap meet. Saw the same swap meet stuff i saw a month ago for $5.00 and a bunch of flashy painted Jap bikes. Very few bikes with Kool factor .I wish i would have gone to Tulsa and spent $25.00 instead.

If it were my business, I'd agree with you 100%. I'm just saying, as a Saturday customer, I don't want more people there. Hopefully next year I will have my car in the show so I can see it from the other side of the rope. LOL

This shows that one man's fun time is anothers waste of time [and money]. I didn't go again this year [out of town], but don't usually. Now Mick has me rethinking my opinion. Maybe I will go next year. Actually it is the monster truck stuff that really kills it for me. When I did enter my F100 a few years ago [and to show how unfairly they judge, I won an award] I did enjoy it more except for the long drawn out awards program. Also had to set behind some guy griping about OKC, just kidding Bob. I miss the old car shows of the past where you just walked around and looked at cars. Kind of why I like outdoor events. If I want to look at a car close, I can. I can even get down on my knees and see what occured with suspension mods, well, at least if someone is there to help me up. LOL.

Says the guy who's probably never tried to do anything like that. There's a relationship between price and purchase, but it's not direct - especially when it's an event and not a hard product.

Shocker - car shows are a business. Businesses exist to turn a profit.
