We're getting really close with MAY CAUSE DANGEROUS. Alex, the Gambino crew and I got the engine compartment whipped into shape over the past few days. They also tied up some minor loose ends. There are a few more little things left to do, but it's looking good for making it to Paso Maria.

PLEASE tell me the hood will be closed when I see your car this weekend. Not that there's anything wrong with the engine, I just don't need to see it open spoiling the lines and interrupting the view of the paint.

Nice finishing touch, but thanks for saying the hood stays down. That drives me nuts when you see a beautiful custom and the guy has the hood up, especially to show off a sbc!

Smoothed Valve covers, a starburst air cleaner and some hidden wires would look nice. I understand the whole custom thing but that car deserves the time to make that motor shine. Can't wait to see more pictures of it.

 

I'm going to have to stay 4 car lengths behind Captain Kirk's Starship going down 101-- That perfect chrome and paint is going to blind me!!! Besides, your making the rest of our pack's cars look like pigs! No fair!

Hey KIRK! Paint those headers white. Stevo had white headers on his Y-block in his old '60 UnFairlane and it made a HUGE difference.

Ya and a billet specialties serpentine system with chrome centerbolt valve covers. Real kustoms leave the hood closed.

Muttley. You should be the main distributor for that product. I hear it works well, there is a lot of them Orca Betties out there this time of year!!!!! Every hot rod, kustom should come equipped with a can or 2, right next to where the fire extinguisher is...hehe! KNUX!
