Heres my idea: Eveyone has some sort of "one of " neat idea that they incorporated into their own hot rod project without spending a fortune doing it. Example: lets say you have a 35 Ford 2 door sedan
and you want to fill in the opening in the roof. What would work? use the roof from a 84-85 Ford Taurris wagon . Fits like a glove . Yes ,who would guess 50 years later, Henry would make the perfect part to be recycled onto your 35 Ford. It actually looks better turned back to front on the 35. Or if you wanted to put power windows in your 37 Chev, but didn't want to spend a small fortune doing it. The power window motor from a mid 80's full size Ford meshes perfectly
with the 37 window regulator gear! We all have simmular examples of our own. It would make great reading an you will never see such a
column in a street rod book , it would piss off the advertisers. Give it a try it my be ia hit. DAVE

Great idea BUT you should post this on the main board so a nice thread can start with back to basic hot rod hints.
