Malcolm thanks, I'm going 2 inch pipe all the way to the back bumper and Porter Mufflers, hey, the mufflers just showed up. I have to give a shout-out to Clark at Porter. I'm going to check them out!

 

Porter's=win. I don't have them myself, yet, but been doing a lot of sound clip research. Yours sounds great as is!

There's a little sticker on the topside of the sunvisor that lists all of the dangers. IIRC, hood hinges is #6, lol.

hey Havi, I'll look twice at the visor next time, you all could have been looking at two flatheads. LOL.

SUFA, Green Monster and ****, thanks guys, I'll post a before and after video of how she sounds with Porters.

 

Since my headers are ceramic coated, I'm going to have the pipes and mufflers coated too. I think it will be cheaper and look good longer then the 409 stainless and aluminized coated steel being offer.

their is nothing that sounds better then a flathead. I have a flathead in my F1. Can you tell my what rear end gears ratio you are using in yours.

The short anwser is 3.50. Just checked the rear axle calulator, @ 2000rpm, 28.9 dia. tires, and final drive 1.00, I'm crusin at 49 mph. We'll see how it go's after the jet changes to the 97's.
