Started another project. 28 p/u drag truck.

    I started a project for Tavis, tmacracin here on the hamb.Hes buildin my motor for the 32 and im puttin together a truck for him. I decided to start from scratch on the body. Here it is after the first 2 days.

    Nice...will it be an extended cab? not much room in them old cabs.My 32 tetnus tonner is cramped and I aint huge.

    No its not going to be a extended cab I'm well under 6' so I will fit nice:D I think Jim was just comparing the new to the old. Jim's work is amazing!

  4. Yes, the new stuff next to the stock cab looks pretty good! I have one of those out back that keeps getting sidelined........

    Are you useing a step die in your beadroller for the raised sections and a large beading die for the large beads...If so what size are the sizes of the step and bead...Looks good...Pat

    Since everyone else is stating how good the metal work is (which it is). I will say

    that motor looks good...

    today we squared up the cab, and went to the junk yard for a real nice cowl band. After squaring the cab up we made the front. Im really loving this cab.

    Yea, this yard is truely one of the highlights of living in eastern Wa.

    Yes the metalwork that comes out of Jim's shop is amazing. The pickup has come a long ways,everything on it minus the cowl and doors band is new metal. Its going to be painted Dove gray with a black roof.I'm going to run cast finish Torq Thrusts with blackwall 5.60-15 fronts and 10.00-15 Coker cheaters on the rear.
