I started my winter project tonight. I got my 47' Chevy earlier this year. It was built by Sinister Hotrods in here in Ohio. It's a great car, the problem is that someone else built it. So I am in the disassemble process. I am going to do a color change, mild custom work, new interior and set it down a little more. Then come spring I will pull it out and drive the wheels off... So, is anyone else working on something that they will role out in the spring?
Well...I'm doing almost the same thing with my Essex this winter, but I doubt that it'll be ready for next spring. 2012, perhaps.
I'm finally geting to my 5 year project 1957 chev truck 2" chop pancake hood radius corners, shortend bed , cadillac bumpers and ooh yeh early hemi with multi carbs .Hope to get it into primer by spring!
Started my next project a 27 T coupe. Have done a bunch of work on it so far. My biggest problem is not enough room in the shop. Building the 27 side ways behind the 30. Got the frame, model A sweep in front z'd 8" in rear will be have a 3 1/2 chanel..No chop. 9" rear coil over's.......PINCHER
My winter project so far seems to be shoveling snow and carrying in firewood. I can't get big items in the celler to work on them down there (it's a real celler and not a basement but it's comfortable as far as working conditions) so that's out. I can't even get my bicycle down there to finish it. Lately my real winter project is buying pieces for the 48 so I can work on it when conditions warm up outside or my buddy gets a bit of room in his garage and gets bored.
I "plan" to have No Quarter running and driving by summer.....been working on it almost everyday, but need a few high dollar parts yet....
