a couple pictures of what i have been working on lately. started with original frame rails , added Pete & jakes rear and center tube crossmembers. i don't care for the 4-bars , but the guy had the stuff and wanted to use it up. `40 ford front brakes with buick drums .the firewall needs a little more work. yeah , i know...another SBC , not my choice . body goes on next week..another steel `32 3 window..
Ho hum, another '32 You can do these in your sleep now, can't you? How about you challenge yourself and actually get the '36 3 window running? I'll look forward to seeing this one at BTTF's next year.
thank you for your kind words.....the body went on the ch***is today for a trail fit ...i'm completely blown away, no one has ever brought me a body this nice! it's not down all the way in the rear due to the stock floor pans , that will be taken care of with a new flat floor....... what i'm REALLY amazed of is the doors ..that's original paint and pinstriping sorry for the mess and cluter in my shop
Just what I was thinking. I still see your frame still covered in plastic? I want to see your car driving
Aren't the 3W doors about the heaviest things you have ever seen....on a old car ? Do these have the arm rest or have they been removed ? I could not believe how heavy my 32 3W doors where.... Seems a shame to remove a nice original floor but sometimes you got to do what you have to.......Looks like it will be a super 3W.....keep up the good work and keep posting updates......please.
Looks like a nice body. Any extra parts ??? If you're planning on selling that floor, let me know. PM me.
