I need a starter switch, the push ****on type, for my 51 ford truck. I converted it to 12 volt neg ground, and the stock ****on grounds through the body of the switch. Does anyone know if NAPA sells just a push ****on starter switch with 2 lugs on the back. I looked online but that got me nowhere, and if I walk into the local store without a specific application they're gonna look at me like I have 3 heads. Thanks in advance,
    Jim

Just use your old solenoid and starter ****on, it worked for me for ten years on my forty ford.

They are usually found in the electrical section of most parts stores.

The switch does not care about - or+ ground, ground is still ground.

  8. standard ignition has a stock looking one with 2 poles. on my '47 car i used the stock ****on and used a different relay, so it won't crank until the ignition switch is on.
