Well guys the Roundup is now over and I was lucky to purchase a Speedway wiring kit cheep. I will now start the disasembly of the car and need some help on how to start this. Here are a couple of questions I have and hope some of you fellas can help me out.

1: Should I start pulling out all the wire at once or start at one end?

2: I am not sure how to go about the 3 speed manual trans with the overdrive system. What's the best way to wire this thing? My engine is a 239 Y-block.

3: If it's possible would it be better for me to switch the trans at this point with an automatic trans? If so what will bolt up to it that has overdrive? maybe and adapter plate to a GM 200R4.

4: Is there anything I should do or buy that will make my job easy?

5: I'm also pulling the gas tank to fix a leak on the neck of it. I can install a fuel sending unit. Anyone know of a good one that will work with the 12V system I have?

I plan on inserting the round aftermarket guages in the dash where the fuel and generator lights are. I also plan to remove the lighter and vent knobs. Not sure about the radio yet.

I have never done this type of work so I'm sure it will be very fun. :D

    Thanks in advance
