Hello every one. Im new to this and wanted to intoduce myself. I am a midwest farm boy at heart that loves the old chevy trucks . Starting my first project with a 50 chey 1/2 ton. The truck is stock. got the ole 216 runing today just for fun.

I can get a 69 nova cheep (free). I am looking at useing the clip and posibly the rearend out of it and anything else that mite be useful.

If any one has any thoughts or words of advice as i start this project it woud very helpfull and if anyone has pics of a nova cliped truck that you could send me that would be great.

    Thank you for you help

Nova/Camaro may = cheap but it also = wide front wheel to wheel width. Lots of nice ones out there but if you're wanting to get the nose to the ground the width is a major problem.

They do offer shortened a-arms but that = mo money. There's also the issue of radiator mount and inner wheel wells mounts. you got to understand that on the original setup the core support is the central piece to the whole front-end puzzle. Everthing is based on the position of it.

Just my 2 cents worth.:D If you want a IFS save a few bucks and get a Mustang II.
