   When I tried to start a tech thread, I was automatically refused permission to do so. Does one apply for permission to do so, or am I doomed, never to start one? This one started perfectly.

   all tech threads get started on the hamb. they're moved to the tech archives if they are good ones. nobody can post anything in the tech archives
