  14. Hey Arkie...I love the photochop of your Nomad! Is that metalflake orange? I'd like it! BTW, your wife know you got that picture of all those women on your computer? ;)

Here are mine. The 68 Dodge has a fuel injected 383. It has recently found a new home. The 63 Plymouth is still in my fleet, although is apart at the moment. It has a fresh 360. I bought both as stockers from an elderly couple: the 63 was hers and the 68 his. Also included a photoshop I did of the 63 as a two door wagon conversion. I'm not doing it that way, however, and am instead turning into a 4 dr hardtop wagon (a body style not offered) with the help of a parts car.

Were I a rich man, I'd have bought it on sight, if only for my '66 Coronet wagon to have a friend...

I a;ways thought of doing a 2-door conversion on my '66. I have a set of '67 2-door doors that bolt right on, and it looks like all I'd have to do is what that dude did in Tech Week a while back.

Here's my '57 Plymouth 2dr wagon. An artsy fartsy shot if I ever saw one.

Actually, it's at a low angle, in the dark, to keep you from seeing all the rust. :D This'un may be up for sale soon, I want to make room for a 2dr HT project I have in mind.

  19. On my 63, it's a nearly bolt on deal. The upper rail is the same on all body styles...2dr, 4dr, post and hard top. Remove the center post, bolt on the longer 2dr doors and weld on the front of the 2dr 1/4 panel. The upper window rubber and trim screws the same upper rail, bolt the 1/4 glass back in and done. The 4dr post to ht conversion is even easier: cut the top off the post, cap with the top of the ht post, bolt on the ht doors and screw the window rubber to the upper rail.

    230ci six with a Powerflite 2spd auto

    unacceptable

especially when all it took to get the Ford in was a simple cut and reversal of the original six-cylinder engine mounts and a new trans crossmember

    Ouch!

Man, in your shoes, I'd have done the same thing then. If you'd like a poly, check these guys out: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/318poly/

Yep. Just wanted something road-friendly. I'd prefer the wow-factor of a 50yr old Mopar engine, but when you're trying to get a car on the road for cheap...

Are you the guy that scored the white/pink '57 Chrysler Windsor with a 354 Poly in it? Guy's name was Jason...
