There's a ton of other stuff I wonder about, but its slipping my mind right now. Thought it might be fun to get some updates on this stuff. I talked to Gene Winfield last nigt at the SF rod show. He says they are doing my old merc for next year (hopefully) so maybe we can all see how it looks finished! I started a 38 RPU with a 4 banger hemi motor...but been busy ending one business and starting another and doing some custom paint work....but I have most of the parts now...so it should be moving forward soon...of course I will post a few pics when I can!
What about Germ's 52 Ford? Last we knew, he was gathering up parts and tech to small block Chevy the thing! (Hurts to even THINK of a small Chevy in that one, but that car always had a certain underlying "Fuck You" statement coursing through it that I just sorta love....and it'll still be HALF as cool with a small block! ) I thought the hopped 215 was pretty cool...if not reliable under a heavy foot...it was different from the normal realm of flatties and 350 Chevys... Whaddaya say, Germ? How's the world's best known*****BOX progressing???
