staying logged in

I just switched to a new laptop, now I have to log on every time even though I checked the stay logged on box. any remedy?

 

When you log in click the box beside log in . HRP

I try to start a new thread of start a new conversation and The Hamb boots me off. Says I`m not logged in. What gives.
