I'm running a '32 heavy axle dropped 4" w/'56 Ford 1/2 ton backing plates/shoes/hubs and drums and a Tardel upper steering arm.

What bolt on steering arms do I need to run with this setup?
The bolt through pair I have do not seem to fit properly in that it leaves the bolt and especialy the nut to hit the axle while turning in either direction.
Is there a pair of arms that bolt into the arms from the backing plate side but do not go through the arm and any particular ones for this app?:)

I like the ones from S0-Cal that use a countersunk socket head bolt with the nut inside the backing plate. I've used them on several chassis with drum brakes without any clearance problems. I like steering arms that use a bolt and nut rather than a blind hole.

Thanks krylon32....I'll have a look at them. I to prefer a bolt through.

Which steering arm you use depends on wheelbase as it will effect the steering geometry called Ackerman after it's patent holder. The angle of the arms isn't just to get wheel clearance.
