Technical Steering box ID needed please.

    I.d. em both if you can! I thought this was the same without the flange but its not

    @scotts52 your steering box looks very cold, just like the 4 banger in my '31 Coupe this morning when I rolled it out of the container to drive it to PT this morning. Wouldn't fire. Drove the '36 DB pickup instead. When I got home the '31 fired right off. It was a few degrees above freezing by that time.

    I have no idea on either of the steering boxes. Sorry

    His box is harder to see with all that frost for sure! Youre not driving the rpu daily in this weather? :D

    Those pictures were sent to me. It does look frosty. I'm trying to find pictures of a 32-36 Chevy steering box for comparison while waiting for someone to hopefully ID the one in the picture

    I know this probably doesnt help,,the frame "looks" like possibly 36 Chevy truck but not the box. 36 +/- truck boxes didn't have a flange, kinda like Olivers, were held to frame with a clamp type bracket. Mitch

    @oliver westlund , I could of. I do have side curtains. We did end up taking the '31 coupe for a drive. It was chilly but sun was shining so not too bad.
