looking for some help with a steering box for my hot rod 1961 f100 would like to go power steering on it
Toyota gear box conversions are popular, you can do a search should be a few threads on here about em'. I sold a lot of the Toyota conversions in the past, work well on the 48'-64' Ford pickups.
would it work on a 4x4 I'm trying to post a pic of it but not having much luck it is a nice stock truck but the lift and tires
It does work, would need the longer pitman arm for the 4x4's. The pitman arms are modified. They do not use the original Toyota ones.
4x4 Toyota box pre 86 . Do it and never look back . Drove a 48 F1 For 50000 trouble free miles . Best swap I ever did in steering
well talk to one guy that did the swap he has a 1961 2 wheel drive he said he had the big hole move it down 1 1/4 and drill new holes
