Steering Gear ?

Any steering Gear Box pros out there?

I have one I would like to identify.

Main body casting number 7808990
Aluminum top cap number 7809203
Stamped in main body under top cap A2617

Anyhelp???

Could you have left out a number? 7898990 is the infamous Vega box. Don't see the other no's on my box. Cheers.

 

what year is the car on the left?

 

The car on the left is a 33 or 34 ford. After the trim is gone it really is hard to tell. Both cars exist and are alive and well in the Dallas, TX area. The 33-4 belongs to Chris Ito and the other is mine.

I edited the numbers and did leave out a digit but it is still not the Vega box number???

Still need help mousketeers.
