The part I am talking about is the steering arm, does it have to be parelell to the ground? It is going to be 4' long and angled down 4" in the back will it be ok?Thanks

If you are referring to the drag link, yes it should be parallel to the ground or very close to it. Four feet long sounds like it could be a problem too.

    Here's mine on my 40.

mustang box will point your arm up instead of down....not your stock box but an option....can you reverse your chev box?

How about when I extend my drag link I bow the end down and then it will be parelell except for the end?

What about building a bracket to mount your steering box on top of the frame? You would have to cut your steering shaft and install u joints but it shouldnt be that tough. Kinda hard to see from the pics how and where the box mounts.
