Technical Steering in a Full Fendered T roadster???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Dec 1, 2014.

  1. what say you?

picked up a project 23 roadster the other day and i'm not too hip on the steering. thinking about keeping the fenders, so i dont think the good ol corvair solution is gonna work here. i see a lot of thru the floor columns but no idea what they're connected to.

    what say you?

VW bus was popular, but put the pitman arm pointed straight up. Not so good for geometry unless you are doing a four bar.

Ford Econoline from the sixties is a good bet, as is the Dodge vans of the same period.

Depending on how the frame was built, there might be room for a Vega box, too.
