I have done alot of reading on dropping the front-end. Flipping axle vs drop axle and mono-springs. Everything I have read "against" flipping the axle talks about bumpsteer-then what do you guys do when you use a drop axle and springs? Isnt the end result the same? The steering arm is not in the same place is was stock. I flipped my axle and am working out the steering. I may look into doing a crossover steering set-up. Anyhow, just looking for ideas and advice. Thanks -Lance
I agree. Whether flipped, mono'd, or dropped the spindle is moved up 6" or whatever. Bending the steering arm and increasing the caster with tapered shims helps. For an example PM Javier about his dropped 60 F100.
You can "Z" the draglink so all is parallel and it will be good to go. A good swap is a toyota steering box too. -Shiny
