steering setup/design

  1. hey guys just wondeing if this setup will work as long as use double u-joints and a support bearing. i need to navigate around a bigblock with headers and my only real route is to go under the motor mount. will this work?

    definitely need support bearing, but yes...should work. i'm assuming power rack. keep angle at rack as small as possible.

    That's right , it'll work fine . Use a support bearing between the 2nd and 3rd joints and don't exceed the limits of the joints ( angle ).

    Modify the rack mount to rotate it rearward so that you can ditch the front joint. You will still want a support bearing just ahead of the rear joint, but you will be much happier with the results.
