Hot Rods Steering spinner knob in Arizona?

Hi Howdy,
Just made the move to AZ, and wondering if it's legal to run a steering wheel spinner? I had a stupid accident last year, (on a Vespa, go figger), and my left arm ain't what it used to be. I used a spinner back East & got a "warning" from Officers in both NY and Maine. Is it legal to use such an item here in AZ? I checked the AZ DMV site and found no restrictions, but thought you guys would know the real deal.

I've seen folks use "arm breakers" here enough to think its ok.

Contact the local police or sheriff and ask. They are usually pretty honest especially to a recent transfer.

 

Czuch is right, I see 'em all the time but I don't think they are "legal".
