I posted last night about a minor steering problem I was having, and after sleeping on it decided I can probably lengthen my steering arms out. Anyone know if there is a formula to figure out how much a said distance will affect the ratio. The steering arms are cast into the spindles so I'd like to cut once and measure twice.

Cutting steering arms; and re-welding is a job for someone who is a VERY good welder; and SHOULD ONLY be done as a last resort.

If the problem is "clearance", (steering arms running into something) they can be repositioned using heat and CAREFULL bending.

Cutting isn't recommended, and changing arm lengths leads to all kinds of other headaches.
