    Asrto van X3 they work well for around $7.00 at the local upull it.

    As far as I'm concerned the safety comes directly down to the builder.
    You can screw up new stuff just as easily as older OEM stuff if you don't know what your doing.
    If you DO know what your doing, either will work.

    I know one thing for certain...I'll NEVER trust my life to a set screw and lock***e.
    I'm into bolts, castle nuts and cotter pins myself...

    Sorry, no numbers. Just looked for a VERY CLEAN as in GOOD one at the U Pull. Looked like it was almost new for $5.00.

    From a Astro Van (intermediate shaft) (1985-2005 ?? ).

    We have a concern here regarding any modified components and any welding on steering and brakes is a NO No. After market steering joints and design are a good question.

    My thinking is if it was designed by a vehicle manufacturer for a bigger heavier vehicle and not modified it should be OK for my light weight Model A.
