Steering upgrade to a '50 Buick - suggestions?

OK, Ive been searching around and have not found what I was hoping to find so here goes: I'm hoping to keep the basic front suspension - - especially since I just spent a bunch rebuilding it. But, the steering ****s, especially with radials.

So, on to the question: Has anyone modified a stock 50's GM front end with an R/P steering setup? Would love to know what you did.
