With all my research I came to a understanding that Grant #4267 was correct for my 1953 Mainline. Trying to line up the splines and I could instantly tell it wasn’t a match. I got em close and hit it with some power and it just smashed the splines haha (thinking maybe it’s just really really a tight fit) well now I’m trying to find the proper adapter. Any ideas?!? Hopefully from personal experience. Or does someone want to sell me a steering wheel?

I had really good luck calling Grant tech line and they were very helpful in figuring out the spline for a ih scout I once had.

I remember reading a post somewhere that there are other adaptors made that fit properly... Unfortunately i cant find that info now. I will be in same position as you when i purchase an aftermarket wheel soon.
