Steering wheel ID please

I've had this wheel for a few years now & it's finally going to see duty on my '30 Tub. I've been told it could be from a Chris Craft boat, can anyone confirm this or tell me what it's from? Thanks in advance.

 

It looks Marine to me with that keyway. Not many app.s used keyways.

Thanks for the replies, the taper's the same as Early Ford, a mate here has a NOS wheel the same as mine.

LOL! Well it is a nostalgia store I guess. It's actually not too far from where I live I should grab that boat wheel!
