Anyone have a stock steering wheel just sitting around? Im tired of the grant steering wheel that I have. Since the Cragars didnt last on the car, neither is this steering wheel. Let me know.

I have two, one for a 56 Fairlane and one for a 56 F100. Me, I don't like stock wheels.

I don't know what else to put in my car. Im putting a 54 merc dash in it, so I was thinking a merc steering wheel.

I am installing a 56 dash in my 55 Fairlane because they look so much better and I can get the nicer gauges for the dash too . Maybe a nice 56 steering wheel would look nicer in the car but can't afford one . Maybe I can find one with decent chrome that isn't very costly . I have a black superior in mine right now and was thinking of still going with a 3 spoke wheel but a different color than black .

Rocky, I've got a stock '54 wheel BUT - it's on on of my parts cars that's up north (200 miles away) and I haven't had time this summer to get up there to retrieve the car. Condition of the wheel in unknown - I don't have any pics of it but it's likely gonna need restoring. Not sure if the horn ring is still with the car. I hope to get up there yet this fall but not sure. VERY busy times for me these days. I can let you know if I get the car down here, and if you're interested, LMK.

Jim - I've got a stock '56 wheel too, with ring. Needs restoring; it's in the pole barn and I can take some pics if you want. If you're interested I can add it to the pile of other stuff I have for you and bring it when I get out that way in Feb or March. LMK.

Something you may want to think about, the original '54 Ford wheel is flat, a later wheel which will fit the column has a dished offset which will put the wheel much closer to your belly(PBR storage unit) depending on your height, in some cases this means having to redrill the seat mounting holes and moving it back.

RG49- How beat up is the one you have? I have 2 horn rings in the garage waiting for a wheel.

Ron - Im looking to get one soon and in decent-good condition. I really appreciate the off though!

Ron , let me know . You have my home email . I still have my 55 flat steering wheel and good horn ring . I just like the metal flake wheels better ! There is NO big rush on that wheel at all . I am just more concerned about the chrome than the wheel it's self . The wheels aren't that bad to fix and paint then look like new again .
