Since this is a traditional website, here's an old school suggestion for help with your spelling dysfunction: dictionary. (But you're on your own with the grammar problem...)
Roger & Trent ... What version of IE are you guys running? I've surfed the HAMB with IE6, IE7, & IE8 ... on various MS Windows 32bit & 64bit OS platforms (XP Professional, several flavors of Vista, and several flavors of Windows 7) ... and the ieSpell icon has always been visible ... ???
Let's see if I've got this right ..... You're in a hurry, so you can't spell.....? Does that mean if you weren't in a hurry, you could spell ...??? I don't get it, but maybe it's just me.
It's also obvious that you were in a hurry when you composed your profile. Maybe try a little harder to develop communication skills.
Hmmm??? ... I'm on a PC running Windows 7 Professional with IE and the spell check icon is there ... maybe Bill Gates knows that "eye kant spel" ... or I maybe I mucked around with a setting.
Hey, I got it,I see it in my browser! DUH! I am sure I saw the same icon in the toolbar of the reply page on one of my older machines? Thats where I was looking.
Thanks Ron, I never realized that was a spell checker and apparantly quite a few others didn't either. Now all we have to do is get them to use it.
I just realized that we have totally hi-jacked this guy's "Death Wobble" thread ... and turned it into a somewhat useful tutorial on the HAMB spell-checker function I wonder how long before the Mods close, delete, or move this thread?
take a wrench with you change the toe in and out till you get it right there is no magic setting trial and error i had to toe one way out to fix the probem
One of the smartest men I ever had the pleasure of knowing could hardly read or spell. He had his secretary read his mail to him while the 12 of us employees made him rich. He didn't start out rich, either. He made it the old fashioned way - by saving and working 2 jobs. He had life smarts and he was just a nice guy. I still cringe when I remember how I made fun of his adult son's spelling. Now I'm a little more careful. He taught me a lot before my arrogance got me fired. I wish I could have hung around longer.

Oh! My eyes!!! DAMNIT! Before they were nationally known as "Deth Wobbel", they toured the midwest by the name "G**** Smugglers"
Years from now, long after we're all gone,a small band of nonconformist rebels will excitedly post, somehow, somewhere,on their implanted at birth, brain stem computers, their latest barn finds... Dictionaries..

ok i got a speedway MR roadster I beam axle with a 3" drop on my 31 model a with bike tires and they have 35 psi in them i have tried 5 to 10 degrees positive caster with traditional steering with a ross steering box .and the rear i have for link with air bags. and thanks for taking it easy on me about the spelling lol
I will put some pics on asap and i am using wishbones and what more info do you need and i will git it just want the help
Look hard at the bike tires ,most do not work well on cars. Second are they balanced? General rule 5-7 pos. caster and 1/16-1/8 toe in usually gets you close. What speed is the shaking happening? Check EVERY conection for slop ,free play including steering box worm adjustment and sector shaft bushings. Front end well greased? Also is the steering box on high center with the wheels straight ahead? How much free play at the steering wheel rim?
RacerX...the death wobble you describe is vague. Take the time to be thorough in your next reply with as many details as you can provide. As asked above...what speed are you getting it at? Do you see the tires shaking when this is occuring? Are the kingpins worn or the wheel bearings bad? Does this happen while normal driving or only over bumps or dips? Are the shocks good and in good geometry for proper dampening? Are the spring perches and shackles in good shape? Is the Ackerman Angle correct? Are you using cross steer or side steer? How about the angle of the drag link in relation to the pitman arm and steering arm pivot points? The 10-Degrees sounds excessive...that's drag car territory. You should be closer to 7-Degrees for a street driven car. Also make sure the spring perch is at the same caster angle as the kingpins. Your reply needs to be descriptive if you want help.
@AAFD ... checkout his original thread: death wobble on my 31 @racerx1962 ... in hindsight, it would have been better for you to just continue your original thread (vice start this whole new thread) ... then again, folks wouldn't have learned about the HAMB spell check feature
