    It all depends what you like. I like all but have a 50 and a 65 step side short box trucks. They are Hot Rods to me and if you want to haul brush a step side will make a believer out of you. I actually voted step side. Gary:D

    It's a truck, so I want to use it as such... Yet at the same time I have an 04 2500 hd for serious work...
    Imma call this guy with step side and see how much coin I gotta dish out... So at least I know my options...
    Also had my big black walnut tree fall in a wind storm a month ago. It's off to my buddy's to be cut up so I got wood for the bottom :)

    They key to the step side bed and brush is it doesn't have the inner fenders to catch on and slides right out! Gary:D

    My way of thinking has taken me to say, pre 1960 should be step side and post 1960
    should be fleetside beds. That said, there are a few exceptions that would be acceptable.
