Features Stepside vs fleetside... Dilemma...

It all depends what you like. I like all but have a 50 and a 65 step side short box trucks. They are Hot Rods to me and if you want to haul brush a step side will make a believer out of you. I actually voted step side. Gary

 

It's a truck, so I want to use it as such... Yet at the same time I have an 04 2500 hd for serious work...
Imma call this guy with step side and see how much coin I gotta dish out... So at least I know my options...
Also had my big black walnut tree fall in a wind storm a month ago. It's off to my buddy's to be cut up so I got wood for the bottom

 

They key to the step side bed and brush is it doesn't have the inner fenders to catch on and slides right out! Gary

 

My way of thinking has taken me to say, pre 1960 should be step side and post 1960
should be fleetside beds. That said, there are a few exceptions that would be acceptable.
