Steve Carbone-R.I.P.

Sad to report that we just heard that Steve Carbone p***ed away this morning.

For those that didn't know, Steve was hospitalized a couple of weeks ago following an aneurysm. He was in a medicated coma, with limited response since. He suffered a heart attack this morning.

Steve was a hell of a drag racer back in the day, and will always be remembered for the burndown with Garlits at Indy in 1971.

If there is any consolation in this, is that he was able to participate in the Cacklefests during the Reunions held in Bowling Green and Bakersfield in 2005. That brought him much joy.

RIP to another legend.
