:confused:Sticky engine paint. I painted my engine 2 days ago and when the engine is cold the pant is dry. When I start and run the engine the paint becomes very sticky to the touch. It has Nason singal stage paint. The sad thing is the paint job looks great. Do you Hambers have any ideas.

Did you get the ratio of the hardner and reducer reversed? If so, at least you only painted the engine.

Correct ratio on the mix. My experience with with wrong mix usually will not dry at all. It is normanly wet hot or cold. The weird thing is the paint is dry until the engine heats up. The next day the paint is hard and will not finger print or feel soft. Just one on the weird things that have happened this week. Thanks

After doing alot of research I found what the drying problem was. I quized the employee tha mixed the paint and found out that he had added the wrong drier. And That sucks!
